Calling Artists Across Aotearoa and Around the World
Be part of an event that celebrates shared making, cultural exchange, and the passing on of creative knowledge. We look forward to creating with you.
CollaboratioNZ invites artists to join a hands-on collaborative residency. Artists from all mediums - metal, wood, glass, ceramics, fibre, weaving, eco-dyeing, furniture, jewellery, painting, printmaking, electronics, visual and beyond - are welcome.
Work alongside international and Kiwi makers, share skills, experiment with new processes, and create work that none of us could make alone. This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in a shared creative environment where knowledge, processes, culture, and inspiration flow freely between artists.

What is CollaboratioNZ?

CollaboratioNZ is a New Zealand–based biennel event bringing together Kiwi and international artists for a multi-day, hands-on, public-facing collaboration.
Artists work side by side in an open studio, experimenting, sharing skills, and co-creating artworks that blend diverse materials, traditions, and viewpoints.

Our aim is to advance and pass on artistic skills, celebrate cross-cultural connection, and invite the public to witness the unfolding of collaborative art in real time.
